Global oil production in 2015 amounted to approximately 91.7 million barrels per day which was 3.2% higher than global production levels of 88.8 million barrels per day in 2014.
Global consumption of crude oil in 2015 was 95 million barrels per day, an increase of 1.9% from the 93.1 million barrels of oil production per day in 2014.
Global natural gas production in 2015 amounted to 3,538.6 billion cubic metres, capping ten years of consistent growth and 2.2% higher than the 3,463.2 billion cubic metres produced in 2014.
Global natural gas consumption continued the steady increases of the ten prior years reaching 3,468.6 billion cubic metres in 2015 which was 1.7% higher than the 3,410.2 billion cubic metres consumed globally in 2014.
